The Diary of Working Mama..

Alhamdulillah, I think the kids are in the good environment of schooling. It is not only for the kids, but me, as a single mama, who is juggling between work and family. March 2019 will mark my three years of journey as a single mama. Life is full of surprise. So, be prepared! Cheers and move on.

Alhamdulillah, the call for gotong royong at work place is timely. As numbers of dengue cases are at worrying numbers, perhaps, it is good if we try to clean our work place. The commitment given by the students and the staff are superb! Keep up the good work! not only good for environment but also it makes us sweat- which is good for health! Insya Allah.

Allahurabbi, siapalah sangka dan menduga, dikhabarkan berita sedih akan pemergian suami teman baik, Oon. Alhamdulillah, a week after school started, we went for a quick holiday. Two days and one night with my kids, my sis and bro in law. I love the city. Almost no traffic jam.

Every new semester promises new experience and adventure. Looking back, alhamdulillah, this coming November marked my work anniversary as an educator. I joined as an assistant lecturer in one a reputable private university in Malaysia on 1st November 1999. I was blessed to have a supportive and understanding colleagues. My boss Dr Yusuf, is not only so fatherly, but he always support his staff and strive for excellence. I learned a lot about academia world from here. Everytime, I passed along the campus, it reminds me of the early days in academia. Teaching is not a simple task.
