Wake me up when September ends, hello it's October 2013!!!

Masya Allah, how time flies, a day seems like minutes. This is perhaps what the Prophet Muhammad reminds us Muslims in Surah Al-Asr. Appreciating time with sabr (patience and sabr). In reality, sometimes, it is easily said than done. Approaching October, reminds me of what have I accomplished for year 2013. Ya Allah, may Allah grants me the patience in life. Next week, insya Allah, Muslims are going to celebrate Eidul Adha. My doa to all Muslims especially those who are performing hajj at the moment and may the time comes for me and hubby to perform the hajj one day. Let me feel young and energetic all time in performing ibadah and life is part of ibadah. This week, I feel a little bit guilty leaving my kids in day care. I wish I will be around to take care them. Allah knows best. May Allah protects them always.

Holiday December

School holiday started earlier for the secondary students. How to time flies and it is going to be two weeks before the school begins. New chapter for the school students. The courage to start a new semester is still not around, for me, as a mother. Less traffic jams and less rushing here and there. How do I really induldge the school vacation. Despite my tight schedule, I managed to bring the kids to visit Surabaya ( it was work and play visit), Singapore and a short vacation in Kuala Lumpur. Despite that we just stay in the hotel's room. I guess we are thankful for the opportunity given. Ya Allah, shower us with your blessings.

Sweet September 2013

Masya Allah! September comes, another four months to 2014. Alhamdulillah, Allah for giving me the opportunity to cherish the time given. So many things happened, how fast time flies. A year feels like a month, a day gone by just like a blink. After all, life is about appreciate and forgiveness. The breaking news on fuel increasing breaks many heart and might be sensitive for the meantime. Life is full of struggle and gratitude. Yups, if we comparative study, we should be thankful, but what I dislike comparison?

welcome semester 1 2018/2019

Every new semester promises new experience and adventure. Looking back, alhamdulillah, this coming November marked my work anniversary as an educator. I joined as an assistant lecturer in one a reputable private university in Malaysia on 1st November 1999. I was blessed to have a supportive and understanding colleagues. My boss Dr Yusuf, is not only so fatherly, but he always support his staff and strive for excellence. I learned a lot about academia world from here. Everytime, I passed along the campus, it reminds me of the early days in academia. Teaching is not a simple task.
