Challenging years ahead! Ahlan Wa Sahlan 2014

Since I came back for good in January 2009, life in Malaysia, has been full of surprises. Surprise to see many things change. You even now can easily meet with obese people while walking in the malls or almost everywhere. Even when you go back to kampung, you can meet obese people. What happened? It was difficult to meet obese people. But perhaps, due to our easy access to foods and drinks, life is getting better. Lack of physical activities might also contribute to this. My second surprise is the hiking prices of goods, foods and etc. I still remember my first visit to Plaza Low Yatt, I need to go the loo, and the charge was RM and not cents. That was back in 2004. I am not sure nowadays. Masya Allah. With almost everything is going up, petrol, electricity, water, etc, my doa is that we are strong enough to witness the wind of change. This goes back on how smart do you manage your income. My doa also is that while everything goes up, my iman and faith also will go up. Insya Allah, Ya Rabb. Solat early on time. Sabr (Patience) in facing day to day challenge. Be firm on whatever you pursue as at the end of the day, tawakkal on whatever you do. Surprise and surprise. Tomorrow will be 2014. Good bye 2013. Happy new year everyone!

Holiday December

School holiday started earlier for the secondary students. How to time flies and it is going to be two weeks before the school begins. New chapter for the school students. The courage to start a new semester is still not around, for me, as a mother. Less traffic jams and less rushing here and there. How do I really induldge the school vacation. Despite my tight schedule, I managed to bring the kids to visit Surabaya ( it was work and play visit), Singapore and a short vacation in Kuala Lumpur. Despite that we just stay in the hotel's room. I guess we are thankful for the opportunity given. Ya Allah, shower us with your blessings.

Sweet September 2013

Masya Allah! September comes, another four months to 2014. Alhamdulillah, Allah for giving me the opportunity to cherish the time given. So many things happened, how fast time flies. A year feels like a month, a day gone by just like a blink. After all, life is about appreciate and forgiveness. The breaking news on fuel increasing breaks many heart and might be sensitive for the meantime. Life is full of struggle and gratitude. Yups, if we comparative study, we should be thankful, but what I dislike comparison?

welcome semester 1 2018/2019

Every new semester promises new experience and adventure. Looking back, alhamdulillah, this coming November marked my work anniversary as an educator. I joined as an assistant lecturer in one a reputable private university in Malaysia on 1st November 1999. I was blessed to have a supportive and understanding colleagues. My boss Dr Yusuf, is not only so fatherly, but he always support his staff and strive for excellence. I learned a lot about academia world from here. Everytime, I passed along the campus, it reminds me of the early days in academia. Teaching is not a simple task.
