October 2016

1st October my kids and I took the first ever flight to Kota Bharu from KLIA, the first time with my late/almarhum husband. We arrived safely in Kota Bharu air port. We took a cab to my uncle's house. His third son reception wedding. The journey itself reminds me of my late husband, who usually the lead in the journey, ensuring everything is ready before we fly. Alhamdulillah, our doa is always with him. Congratulation to my little cousin for his wedding, it was like a family gathering- where every one is there. On 3rd October we hired a Vellfire to visit alharhum's mother. She looks ok but slimmer I guess. We really miss him! 4th OCtober, we just enjoyed Kota Bharu- just walk to Old Town WHite Cafe to enjoy the breakfst. The hotel that we stayed- Viana Hotel is adjacent to Wakaf Che Yeh- a popular spot for shopping. The kids- Faris and Fateh went there twice- shopping. As for me, just enjoying the company of my little daughter in the hotel's room. We checked out and spend time at my uncle's house. Allah, it is a blessing to meet them all, especially almarhum's family! Al Fatihah- A Fond memory to Alharmhum Mohamad Zahar bin Sulaiman.

Holiday December

School holiday started earlier for the secondary students. How to time flies and it is going to be two weeks before the school begins. New chapter for the school students. The courage to start a new semester is still not around, for me, as a mother. Less traffic jams and less rushing here and there. How do I really induldge the school vacation. Despite my tight schedule, I managed to bring the kids to visit Surabaya ( it was work and play visit), Singapore and a short vacation in Kuala Lumpur. Despite that we just stay in the hotel's room. I guess we are thankful for the opportunity given. Ya Allah, shower us with your blessings.

Sweet September 2013

Masya Allah! September comes, another four months to 2014. Alhamdulillah, Allah for giving me the opportunity to cherish the time given. So many things happened, how fast time flies. A year feels like a month, a day gone by just like a blink. After all, life is about appreciate and forgiveness. The breaking news on fuel increasing breaks many heart and might be sensitive for the meantime. Life is full of struggle and gratitude. Yups, if we comparative study, we should be thankful, but what I dislike comparison?

welcome semester 1 2018/2019

Every new semester promises new experience and adventure. Looking back, alhamdulillah, this coming November marked my work anniversary as an educator. I joined as an assistant lecturer in one a reputable private university in Malaysia on 1st November 1999. I was blessed to have a supportive and understanding colleagues. My boss Dr Yusuf, is not only so fatherly, but he always support his staff and strive for excellence. I learned a lot about academia world from here. Everytime, I passed along the campus, it reminds me of the early days in academia. Teaching is not a simple task.
