The Diary of Working Mama..

Alhamdulillah, how time flies, for the past two months, it was quite hectic. here it comes haze, and almost 10 days schools were closed. We went "balik kampung" twice due to my work commitment. Last weekend, it was quite shocking as my husband has to undergone emergency operation for his eyes due to retinal displacement. Alhamdulillah2. May Allah grants us the strength.

It is a great pleasure to be invited as one of the panelist for this Legal Symposium, held in Bandung, Indonesia. This is my first ever trip to Indonesia. It was a great trip and fruitful exchange, learning other people culture in education. Next year, insya Allah, it will be held in UIN, Malang, Indonesia. This week also witnesses the Malaysian Ringgit badly effected which makes us worried.

It almost ages I have not visit this page and updating. Syawal tiba,and it is a sad thing to leave ramadan al mubarak, the blessed month. This week, we are witnessing surprise after surprise of the Malaysian politics. My doa and prayers to Malaysia.

The title sounds heavy, but being a mama, it is not an easy experience for me. Especially dealing with your sons tantrum. Well, again, when your son does not follow what is being advised to him. Masya Allah, it is a really test for me. I try my best not to raise voice and talk nicely as if I am giving counseling to my students. Perhaps, I should add more doa and prayers in my daily solat. May Allah gives me the strength to be a good mama who will guide her children to love Islam and aiming to Jannah.

def Lappard in their song entitled ' When Love and hate Collides", this song reminds me of my journey back from umrah, and I was enjoying listening to this song on the plane. Well, as month changes, today, it marks our almost three months of journey in 2015. How do I really wish that I have read more quranic ayah and become more patience with my kids. Kids sometimes drive you nuts, but, actually, dealing and managing difficult people are more challenging to the iman. Well, wishing all the best for this warm weather and let's the wind take the hot weather away soooonnnn..

A day before the chinese new year, I decided to bring the whole members of the family to Universiti Sultan Idris Shah (UPSI) as I had a meeting with Pusat Perkembangan Kanak-kanak, UPSI. Children, have always captured my interest, I like children, but dealing with my own children- it is challenging! Perhaps they are my own blood, thus, we tend to put some expectation for them. Being a mama for three growing boys and a girl really test me on how to be patience and yet articulate in everything I do. I am thankful for having a supporting husband, who really help me a lot in the kitchen, preparing dinner.

Yesterday was my husband's birthday, we had little celebration at Alamanda, in one of the restaurants which served Thai's cuisine. Alhamdulillah, 2014 marked a historical year for me. It was a good turning point for my career, yet, I feel guilty especially to my little darling, but she seems ok and hopefully, she enjoyed her long stay in Taska..sob sob. Well, it was also a year where I learned independence. Always think positive despite being looked negative. Masya Allah, may Allah grants me the strength.
